    People are saying on social media that the free agent ruling has changed. Apparently they won’t be able to play until Jan due to the new squad registration rules. Anyone know if this is true? If it is, I can’t see why anyone would wanna sign him - or any free agent - at this point.

    His agent said that he'd completed a medical in London.
    That doesn't necessarily mean that he was signing for a London club.
    Bit of spin to generate publicity without actually lying.

    As for the European giant part, I guess that's a little more debatable.

    That was the point I was making earlier, any club from anywhere in the world can fly their doctor over to the UK to perform a medical.

    The Independent quoted his agent as having said it was a London based club. They’ve just changed the wording in that piece lol.

    Mixed feelings here.

    Would be a laugh if Burnley now put Olympiakos out of the EL, but
    similar if Olympiakos draw the Goons/Chelsky and he helps beat them.
