According to "Thesourcefooty" on twitter he still expects the M'Vila deal to be completed by the weekend, just minor issues by Rennes holding it up. Again, this guy is usually very trustworthy. Would be a great signing. Also mentioned that Rolando was number 1 centre-back target but with others coming in we might have to look elsewhere? At least we know Harry is looking at centre-backs!!!
Rennes have accepted a bigger bid from the Russians and they've offered more money with less tax, could be dragged out to the last minute...
I'd take the "thesourcefooty" over BBC any day of the week. He was saying Harry was confirmed 3 days before the BBC declared he was off to the Ukraine!!
Either way I hope these ****ter journos had the decency at times to say My story last week was come rely incorrect I got it wrong by a long way In fact like this I was just writing words for the sake of it. Sadly that never happens and they move onto new fantasies just like me I want to be caked in lard
6.09pm @TheSourceFooty: M'Vila to QPR should be announced before the weekend. A fee of £8.4 million. Haggling over 'minor' issues as seems to be the norm with us.
Dreossi (Rennes owner) feels QPR are now out of the running, adding 'QPR? I met with them for a long time (on Monday) but I think they will withdraw and I have not heard from them since.' He would not reveal the new bidder from England (Arse?), saying ' the new English club? This is not Newcastle - but no matter, M'Vila will leave and it will be finished before Saturday's game.' --From Sky Sports.
Definitely has taken way too long, from when we first announced our interest in the player. If all parties are ready and willing, then it's a done deal, move on. I'd say this one is gone.
My research suggests that its the parent club that is the problem here and as Frédéric de Saint-Sernin maybe involved believe me the whole thing will be long winded and take 357% longer than any other human on this rock
