How many first team appearances has he made? - I work with a few Spurs fans and all I've had back is that they 'think' he is 'quite well regarded' but nobody seems to have seen much of him ..
He's made one appearance for Spurs, in a Europa League game, though he did play in a pre-season against Stevenage. I suspect the Spurs fans know just as much about him as Charlie.
Maybe even the Southampton fans know more then Spurs. They will know the reason why he didn't play more games for them. I know sod all about him but I'm sure Nigel will do some background work before signing him if the rumours are true
I'm sure there are plenty that follow their reserve side. Quite successful in the Premier League, with him being one of their stars. I personally see no reason to sign him. Can't see what he offers that we don't have.

In this position we're looking for squad players rather than nailed-on starters. I'd be astonished if we find anyone better than Knockaert. But as we've seen with Man Utd and Lingard, no one is going to be happy to loan us a player to sit on the bench.
You want get anyone of Knockaert's ability in the championship. It was a complete masterstroke that we got him in the first place. He is miles too good for this league In 5 years time I think he will be at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
