Hate this ****. He's now given an interview saying Pep is jealous of him, intimidated by him and doesn't like him because of the colour of his skin.

I think he'll be made to apologise publicly. This is just after City have named an area of their training ground after him and immortalised him in a ****ing mural. Think that will soon change considering Pep is Mr Citeh.

He was a good player for them but also a pain in the arse for what I can remember. Did he not take the piss out of the club a few years back? Cant remember the ins and outs of it. There was also something about getting miffed about not getting a birthday cake from the club. I was very surprised that he got all of that ceremony type nonsense you refer to, also including a song and dance made at the last game of the season. A sorry state of affairs when supporters are being directed towards idolising a stroppy tart like him.

There are plenty of footballers who have to put up with **** from fans, clubs and managers and they need supporting properly by FIFA (the things that happen in Italy and Russia and some other parts of Eastern Europe are shameful and UEFA should simply fine/ban clubs and even national FA's for basically ignoring it.

Toure though is a totally impossible character to empathise with. The moment he had a hissy fit a few years back he lost any credibility as an adult, don't judge people on their gender, colour, religion, etc or even on what they say they have done or are going to do -- judge them on what they have actually done. What he's actually done is made it clear to the world he's an egotistical child in a mans body. There may be merit in what he says, bu no-one is going to believe it from him.
