https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44364542 Hate this ****. He's now given an interview saying Pep is jealous of him, intimidated by him and doesn't like him because of the colour of his skin. The bloke was an unreal football player but he's without a doubt the worst bloke I've read about in football. No loyalty, no dignity, a money grabbing who're who holds nothing sacred. ****ing vile.
I think he'll be made to apologise publicly. This is just after City have named an area of their training ground after him and immortalised him in a ****ing mural. Think that will soon change considering Pep is Mr Citeh.
He was a good player for them but also a pain in the arse for what I can remember. Did he not take the piss out of the club a few years back? Cant remember the ins and outs of it. There was also something about getting miffed about not getting a birthday cake from the club. I was very surprised that he got all of that ceremony type nonsense you refer to, also including a song and dance made at the last game of the season. A sorry state of affairs when supporters are being directed towards idolising a stroppy tart like him.
It does take the piss, he doesn't like me so I can only assume it's because I'm black? **** off. If people don't like you it's because it's public knowledge that you're a lazy mercenary who throws his toys out of the pram like a little kid.
Your talking about a bloke who put a transfer request in 3 years ago because the club didn't send him a birthday card. He's an egotistical W@nker of the highest order! I loved seeing him bounce off Kone in that 50/50 challenge a couple of seasons ago.
My view is that his ego can't handle the fact that Citeh did what they did without him. If others don't come forward to back up his claims, you wonder what the future holds for him. Will another manager want to sign him
He is an absolute **** of a man no doubt about it. I also think Pep is an absolute **** of a man. Therefore for me they can both go **** each other and hopefully give each other AIDS.
This. There are plenty of footballers who have to put up with **** from fans, clubs and managers and they need supporting properly by FIFA (the things that happen in Italy and Russia and some other parts of Eastern Europe are shameful and UEFA should simply fine/ban clubs and even national FA's for basically ignoring it. Toure though is a totally impossible character to empathise with. The moment he had a hissy fit a few years back he lost any credibility as an adult, don't judge people on their gender, colour, religion, etc or even on what they say they have done or are going to do -- judge them on what they have actually done. What he's actually done is made it clear to the world he's an egotistical child in a mans body. There may be merit in what he says, bu no-one is going to believe it from him.
