Jaggers are honking. Just always seem like a good idea at the time.

I love it, usually drink it neat but sometimes mix it with Lucozade.
Can't stand whiskey, brandy or dark rum.

If you like Ouzo mate then try this one. Pernod (or any aniseed drink) Cider and Cherry Brandy, tastes nice and the kneecap thief comes round after just a few.

That sounds canny that. May just have to imbibe a few samples over the Xmas period.

You mention Cherry Brandy again, im gonna send redhead round to smash your kneecaps.

Drink of the devil. Its just so wrong. Its the equivalent of sucking on a Susan Boyles used tampax.

Well, we moved a couple of weeks ago, and the mrs did all the prepping/packing.. i did the moving and unpacking

it came to unpacking the booze cabinet. Not a bottle in sight, not one ****ing bottle. I know i hardly drink spirits anymore - bar Chrimbo/New Years - but the Mrs thought it would be a good idea to just throw everything out. ****ing what! Unopened bottles of whisky, vodka, brandy, port.. + some other specialist stuff i'd picked up on me travels. If she'd given it away i could get that. but no, just hoy it all out

I've a good mind to buy her lemonade instead of the usual champers/prosecco. Anyway, I'll be flying back on Tuesday stocked with as much port and brandy as i can.

These days the port, brandy cheese n crackers makes my christmas.

for the vodka lovers out there, try to get yourself some koskenkorva - the nicest, most mellow vodka i've ever had. never mind knee-capped, more like decapitation if you really get stuck in.

    That's good stuff mate yeah.

Not a big vodka drinker myself but liked that when I was given a bottle by a Polish work acquaintance.

I have become a real ale fanatic in recent years and it's usually either that or bottles of Double Maxim when I'm out...Although do sometimes shift to the wine or shorts..

Just done the Costco run yesterday and now have copious amounts of marlborough new zealand white wine, Jack Daniels and Gin. I'm not quite into the beers too much these days as it bloats me but I do have some Peroni if I want a couple. Also asked for Christmas for a nice bottle of Spiced rum. So I'm pretty much sorted.

Anah, but mixed with Cider and Pernod it's ****ing lush mate, just try one and tell me i'm wrong.

As for sumo's tampax, FFS, you'd have to cut it in half just to fit it in your gob.

Go for it mate, never mind what that pufter Comm says, it's lush. We used to drink it in my daft younger days in the Schooner in Town End Farm, i could only ever manage 3 pints of the stuff then my legs used to buckle.

Order a pint of cider, take a good gob full, then chuck the other 2 in and give it a good mix.
