Its snowing here, light switch on this afternoon (with a bbc Dalek, Darth Vader as you do, and of course Santa - who was rubbish last year, no beard, slim and qued up in the ****ing chip shop after Although he did have elves and reindeer) And the guy who goes to town is putting up his 30 ft outside Christmas tree! We can see it from our kitchen. He has grown up kids but he goes to town which is good for my daughter. We do I suppose as well, but I do like Christmas This year got an inflateable snowman and snow projector from Aldi for a total of £ 35. Bargain!
Still too ****in early ... Dec 1st is ok A lot of the trees (NB just the regular old trees, not fir trees or christmas trees) around here have already had lights put in them by the council, looks quite nice tbf I've seen christmas trees up and decorated through a couple of windows this week, people should be dragged out and summarily shot for that at this stage Obviously in town and supermarkets the floodgates opened before it was even November
That's slightly different tbf. Takes time to put them up and the council usually have several areas to cover, not just one. Just don't turn the ****ers on until 1 December. I organise the Christmas lights for tree area I work in. Ours won't be switched on until December!
They went on the day they put them in ... Tuesday I think. Guess they thought they'd show off the work they put in. Took them long enough they were there from morning till after 10pm in a couple of spots. How difficult is stringing up a few lights?!
Trees still have half their autumn leaves here... Wonder why they bother falling off just for two months. They will be growing new again in just a few months... Seems a bit of a hassle to drop your leaves for that. I'd make a terrible tree... Too lazy.
Rather pornographic for something wholesomely festive and geared towards kids don't you think ?? Will deffo stand out in the display though
