friend of my mum has an assistance dog and it is interesting to see him at "work" .

PS my one irritation with the article is ,as so often in recent years, that they use ex servicemen as they appear to be the only disabled people who are considered "acceptable" despite the fact that there is no connection between the charity and the armed services.

Turkey is drier. Goose has more fat on it no?

Want to figure your basting and bacon covering.

Yeah goose is easy as it's fatty and it's very nice but we fancied a change, I've been researching recipes.

Go for a turkey crown so you just have the good breast meat and cover it with lots of streaky bacon. That's as much as I know as I tell the Mrs that every year and then she tells me to bugger off and leave her to do it.

Yeah I've gone that way recently, crown is so much easier and nobody eats the legs anyway. It also massively reduces the cooking time and reduces the chance of over doing it.

Not actually seen the menu. Need to get that sorted.

Its more just a pain having to walk 20 mins into town then being in restaurant with load other random people then having to trudge back and not just immediately slob out on sofa!

True but is there entertainment on or a prize or a draw work something just to keep it interesting.

Tbh for me even the work Christmas parties where women decide (old women too)that it has to be in the shortest most crowded Place in town so they can have there once annual piss off and cobwebs dusted from their vaginas night out.... yeah its a pain.

Nah did it couple years ago and going same place. Just normal restaurant for food. Suppose gets us out the house on xmas day.

Our work ones are **** because they insist on doing t with whole department and such a big number of us it’s pretty boring just food and drinks. Nothing spectacular plus it’s london so super expensive and a pain cos everyone disappears early to get home, plus it’s midweek plus it’s a lunch so starts at like 1 so everyone’s bored and wanting to leave by 5
