Easy guise, so....10 posters managed to put up something resembling a Xmas meal.

If pics are required for reminder then refer to thread

this year’s ‘no pic just words’ entries were:

I did turkey, but cut into thick slices and basted with pepper and butter, then wrapped in foil. Veg and spuds, neither of us like sausage so we didn't have any of that.
Pretty simple really.
So, I cooked for four people. Turkey and Gammon were cooked perfectly. I also had mash, turnips, carrots, parsnips, sprouts and probably more that I can't think of. Oh, stuffing as well, that was amazing. I also made proper gravy and not runny gravy like these amateur chefs.

just pick one and give it a menshie I’ll make up some award for it

good luck

I've given my vote to @Archers Road because I'm a sucker for a sob story.

Sucky let himself down with the meatloaf. All the prepping was great, but he couldn't be bothered with the finished article, more interested in his weed. Plus he was all over the shop. Oh and I don't fancy lambs head for my xmas dinner either.

Schelm cheated

All I remember about Fosse's dinner, was white plastic chairs, all he needed to do was ring the bell and shout school dinners.

Sorry @Chief but you left the inlaws to do the bubble & squeak, you lost points for that, despite the main meal looking good as always.

Windy would have won if it was a dead cat contest.

Pieguts, best starter.

Luv, lovely dinner, but fella, so OCD, sort it out bruv.

Spurly's hmmm.

Ok so Here’s mine..... for your consideration.

Consists of:
Turkey
Ham
2 x Yorkies
Mash
Carrots (hiding)
The crispy cheese top from the cauli cheese
Pigs in blankets
Sausage meat stuffing
Gravy
Mint sauce

All consumed while a 3 year old bandaged my leg up with help from her new barbie ambulance.

Not sure about Yorkshire pud with Chrimbo dinner mate. I mean, it’s your call obviously, but some things just aren’t right.

On the other hand, I do like the way it’s all been slung on the plate, like it was served up by trustees in some sort of institution.

Anyway, on balance, my vote goes to @Spurlock ’s meagre Muslim effort; we’re eating a whole flock of turkeys, chickens, guinea fowl and assorted winged beasties, and he’s curried the egg. The crafty bugger is onto something imo.

I feel like my portion size has worked against me.

Not wasting valuable plate space on anything colourful. I like it. Hope your leg recovers fam.

Clear winner was @luvgonzo

his looked great and would have liked the starter from @pieguts

I will try to post a picture of my Xmas dinner later which I think is a winner.

I only cook the Turkey and Mrs G4E cooks the Gammon and the rest of the meal so is that within the rules or do I have to cook all the meal.
