Anybody got one of these?
If so does yours play standard def region 2 PAL movie or TV show DVD's, particularly from the distribution company Network (networkonair.com). They're a major uk dvd distribution outfit.

Mine refuses to play 95% of them, and I'm trying to find out if it's a hardware or software issue the dvd player app.

You might be right, but I'm too attached to old movie box sets to sell them cheaply.
The stand alone player will have to stay, though the Xbox is going to be returned to Microsoft under warranty.
It's almost certainly the dvd app, but I don't know anyone with an Xbox to see if it's a widespread issue.
