Just watched it. Very disappointing.
First song
Luke didn't have the best choice of song; no guitar and key too low highlighting his weakness
Nicholas did a forgettable version of Candy (don't like the song anyway)
Sam belted out Lady Gaga's On the Edge

Second song
Luke was OK with Ellie Goulding. Sung lion's share of the song
Nicholas was poor with the Westlife chap. Didn't seem to perform much of the song
Sam was well and truly shown up by Nicole

How Nicholas got through that I don't know (apart from Scotland is bigger than Devon)

Tomorrow will be a landslide. As I said earlier, that 4/11 Sam was suddenly looking tasty. I'd be surprised if she's not 1/6 now. Must go and have a look at the odds.

Won't be watching the final this year.

There is money to be made in these comps. Just a case of being patient.

Well done Sam. Gave it all again. I think that song exposed her range. Definite pitching problems on low notes and the highest note was a screech. Apart from that she sang very well and good luck to her.
