90 minutes up, and 8 minutes added on time.

Express FM saying the 8 minutes due to persistent time wasting by the home team !

Given the amount he's spent, and all the players he's brought in, I would say Cook has massively underachieved. I'm not saying we should be nailed on certs for automatic promotion, but we've not even been close (realistically) in months.

What would you do Lapras if Pompey win only one of the next five? Stick or twist? Personally, as the board have invested so much in Cook acquiring his squad, I would ride out the storm and then review the situation in the summer if things go "belly-up" or if the chance of promotion is lost befote the end of the season, get a caretaker and then do the best to get a quality manager. Brian McDermott. I feel with the same squad he would get far better results. as for Cook, maybe the chemistry between him and the fans is becoming too toxic that it is putting pressure on him (does he keep cool head?) and so consequently is putting pressure on the teaam with the inevitable costly slip-ups and mishit passes.

If we're still in the play-offs somehow, then stick... The board are most likely going to stick with him until the end of the season unless we start plummeting down the table. At the end of the day, as long as we get promotion, it doesn't really matter how we get it and through the play-offs would be nicer than as third or second anyway... However, I have no faith that we're going to get promoted. At least last season we had a good record for the most part against the promotion contenders, this season it's awful.

Also, pretty ridiculous on Cook to blame the fans for our loss last week. If he picked 4-4-2 to prove a point to the fans, that's pretty ridiculous. I don't really care about formations, I think intent is more important for the most part. Admittedly I haven't been to a game since our season opener (rarely down south, and given our form, I'm disinclined to waste a day when I'm down south watching a snoozefest) but it seems to me that Cook has an ultra-defensive mindset, combined with being reactive rather than proactive.... combined with the fact that our shooting accuracy is abysmal and a team only needs one or two shots on target to beat Forde (who brings in a 37 year old keeper on loan?! I mean really!)
