So no Wallace today (oh dear what a shame) but no Kakay either !!!...both are a couple of weeks away from fitness. I know I keep on about this, but no one is really picking up on this. We have a minute squad...We are not playing 5 subs, as we do not have the players to do it (unless we throw on a couple of untried un played u23). We do not have the senior players to rotate the squad either. It is a club decision (to keep the wage bill down and just survive) ...which I am sure Warbs is party too. But we will really need reinforcements in January...just to be able to put a team and a bench out each week. This is not an excuse for Warbs, I am sure he thinks he can manage it...I think reality is beginning to appear though
It’s an XI which suggests he’s terrified of losing. Guess he wants some height in the team but it’s terribly negative for a game we should have most of the ball.
Not sure how we can find any money for any new blood, everyman and his dog says we can't afford to remove warbs so we will have to try and survive on a wing and a prayer.
Come on Rangers. Good performance. Clean sheet and goals for the strikers...... Hopefully, I havent just jinxed it and put the kiss of death on it.
In reality, there's not much else he could do....a couple more injuries or suspensions and it'll be the kids playing. Our squad is so thin
He's petrified of losing mate. Playing Cameron, Ball and Carroll all together and forcing Chair on the left is madness against Wycombe. Maybe they will surprise us with who plays where, but it seems so negative.
Surely, he has enough sense to know that playing Ball, Camaron and Carroll reduces our possibilities to create chances.
Who else you going to put in Adomeh...so much spirit so little talent now Thomas...looks as though he is still injured Willock tried that on Tuesday vs Stoke, and he did nothing Dykes is getting no service, so could put Bonne in there to get no service...or Kelman to destroy him...but this is exactly the game for Dykes (Wycombe and their giant players). I would keep Dykes for tjhis one all day long So his only other alternative...is to play 3-5-2...With Masterson and Bonne in. Not the match to try that imho I think the team will play much more 4-3-2-1 anyhow and Chair will not be on the left. Please Rs ...lets win this one so we can approach Christmas a little happier
Agreed, worrying times.Re:injuries or no injuries the fact is the squad is way short of quality to compete in this Division.
Not sure we are way short of quality to play in the Division, but we are way short of goal scorers to stay in it. Also we need a box to box big nasty midfielder and more cover, especially for the back 4, or 5.
is Ademoh fit? Or could he be trying too hard as is he playing for his club? I would like to see MW utilise the squad and maybe at some point bring in the younger players - give them an opportunity - who knows, there might be a shinning light that can demonstrate that they are more than capable. I would alos like to see Dykes and Bonne given a chance to play upfront together with Chair just behind ... Hopefully the scouts can identify a "useful older head" that can lead this fairly young team. It's strange season this one. If Villa can score 7 against Liverpool , and they in turn hit Palace for 7 then maybe just maybe we can get the decisions going our way and some goals. Come on you R's.
