The best atmosphere at an away game I’ve witnessed from our fans this season. I am guessing we had around 1,800 there ? The train back to London after was rocking - literally
No derailment please. Fans who actually go to the games want to read about the football. See you at Wembley.
Still very much buzzing after last nigt. Okay Wycombe are a team on a dire run, but on another day we'd be lamenting that these are the teams that come into the match fired up to be difficult, and by all accounts they were. So three points on the board, a couple of players got a rest, and it's all to play for. Exciting stuff if we can hold our nerves.
Bowyer has got this team running their anuses off for him, it’s great to see a team really believing in the manager. Despite the owner this has been a seriously enjoyable season can’t wait for Saturday.. my nipples are like bullets in anticipation
It looks as if Lee Bowyer has given up on Fosu. Not even on the bench last night. Too many frustrating non performances this season.
He certainly wouldn’t have fitted in last night , that was all about physicality and he just doesn’t have that work ethic
Quite often a player who is not going to be retained for the next season is allowed to go elsewhere to try and win a contract …. Perhaps we have allowed Fosu to try his luck elsewhere
Quite an indictment of Fosu that George Lapslie has taken his place. GL has 10% of Fosu’s natural ability, but 200% more guts and commitment.
I believe he was rewarded with his contract last summer. At a recent home game - can’t remember which one - my son noticed him speeding down Floyd Road in his car about 2.10pm. Perhaps he also has a timekeeping problem which has p1ssed Bowyer off ? It’s a shame for the player personally because he could have pressed on and played at a higher level - it’s now apparent why his previous clubs have let him go (just like we will).
@DickPlumb What did you think of Joe Aribo last night? He seems to be playing in a more attacking position these days.
I thought Joe Aribo was very good. Cullen was my man of the match. He really should not be playing in the third division. Vetokele had a decent game as well.
