Who said anything about him being prolific? He's a targetman, sets up more than he scores & as it happens, his TOTAL goals for the season are one less than your leading goalscorer. Harrolds goals per game return is better for us than it was with you. That's a simple fact..

Harrold more than justifies his selection & is one of a number of superior strikers that we have, than you.

jenny glad you are happy with him.we are scoring goals from midfield and defense and our strikers have been injured at separate times this season,we have only just got pittman back after months out injured and he hasnt played a full game yet so theres more to come from our frontmen yet.<cheers>

Then you're agreeing that we have a better bunch of strikers than you!

Matt Harrold has 5 league assists this season - so actually has set up fewer goals than he has scored this season.

at the risk of going out on a limb here. Im going to say i quite liked Harrold when he was with us, I want devastated to see him go but thought he was a player who could bring others into the game. What I would say is that he didnt score enough goals as a striker, a problem most of our strikers seem to be having at the moment. I would also say that league 1 was too high for him

JS.. If you're going to get all technical & stuff, then I'll rephrase it. Harrold is involved in many moves this season, that result in us scoring goals. Wanderermark has it spot on, the lad brings others into the game.

I have to ask, is Wanderermark the only sensible one on here who understands the game?! LOL.

WAS being the crucial word there.

Also, maybe you want to have a word with your forwards who haven't scored many goals at all, eh! After all, that's what they're meant to do.. LOL.

We've even sent a guy out on loan, who's scored more goals than your top scorer!

Your forwards are useless, absolutely useless.. LOL.

Jenny, I am more than happy that you are enjoying having Harrold at your club. He even scored a few for us in League 2 a couple of years back. However, he has no further potential and if you get to League 1, you will realise quite how inadequate he really is!
With regards to our lack of goals up front. I am really pleased that we seem to be scoring from all over the pitch and not relying on one striker (who could get injured at any time). The league table doesn't lie!!!

Is Jenny somehow related to our ginger former striker?? Only a mother could love him as a forward to be honest. Often saw the corner flag trembling with fear whenever Harrold shaped to take a shot!!
