TFFT. It gives NP more time in charge at City.... oh & no extra time, H A P P Y. Got my tickets for the Brum game & I´m in one of the corners in row D.... **** we had better win that game. "UTF"
Credit to your team. Gave our lads more then a run for our money All the best for the season. P.S. I still hate you for the FA Cup though
Just a quick question lads - would you have rather lost that match to concentrate on the league? Sounds like a stupidly obvious question, but I was just wondering because I honestly would rather Hull go out in the next round so we can focus on surviving relegation.
I would have taken the win. After last year losing to Burton I cant put up with losing to a lower league side. Hopefully we get a big side away next so we get a day out, put on a decent show but get knocked out then
I don´t really give a **** about any of the cup comps while we are in the championship tbh & I can be quoted on this over a number of years, but this will be a good win for the lads & we all know what wins do to a team. No I´ll take it & hope we can progress from it (over all). 2 away wins out of 2
I personally think winning breeds confidence. Take each game as it comes and go out to win it. Our bad run started with a 2-1 home defeat to Huddersfield in the cup last season.
Interesting interview with Sean St. Ledger He said he is very happy here and he just wants to play football. He said he was told he was surplus to requirements in the summer but alot has changed since then, he is now back in favour and wants to impress Nigel and maybe even earn a new contract
Good point. Though when we went out in the 2nd round last season, we won 5 of the next 8 league games. Same in the FA Cup, we won 5 of the next 8 games. It is hard to tell what is truly does to the players. It might put a downer on the confidence, but it could make them more determined to prove their ability.
Absolutely, it's all opinion. Although didn't you lose in the F.A. cup and then go on a horrific January run?
Oh right, well there you go. I suppose if you looked at it as a whole it'll be 50/50. Only thing to worry about is injuries. But that shouldn't happen through fatigue, professional footballers should be able to run about a bit for 90 minutes 3 times a week.
Good win in the end, as Nige says we are no way near the finished article (no ****!!!) and will take a while to get used to the new formation, but 2 wins in 2 is a good start however you want to look at it. Keeps the moaners away for a while longer at least. I bet they are chomping at the bit for the first defeat!! lol On a side note..... that damn away kit of ours it truly dreadful. Why on earth come up with a ****ty puke colour like that. with all the other colours they could have chosen Morons. (oops thats me...MOANING!)
I don't actually mind the new kit too much. I've seen worse - QPR's away kit this season is vomit inducing
Think a cup run would hurt your chances of staying up more than ours to get promoted, Wigan and Birmingham are good examples. Personally i wouldn't have minded if we had gone out, we lost to Burton last year and it didn't effect our league performances at the time, i doubt that we will be focusing too much on the cup in all honesty. Nice to see Danns got a good run out, although listening to the radio, it doesnt sound like he has done enough to start on Sunday.
