Commiserations to Wycombe and Rocky. If they can keep that team together they must have a great chance of bouncing back. Commiserations also to Stu. Sorry your trip to Preston has been ruined just so the rest of us can enjoy the last two matches of the season in tranquillity. Wouldn't exactly call it "winning ugly" today as there was lots of open attacking play and lots of chances to both teams, but it was too close for comfort. Let's hope we can really put on a show in the final two games to make Stu's trip worth it.
Wycombe were really unlucky today - Like many teams in the Division, they play really good football, they just lack at the end of the day three things (1) A tight Defence (2) A clinical Goalscorer and (3) LUCK!! Really hope they survive was nice to see a couple of fans hanging back to clap our players on their first Lap of Honour. So glad that the title is wrapped up, no more worrying how far Sheffield are behind us and who they've got each coming weekend, and no more spending each match worrying to see how they're doing. Charlton you've been amazing this season - This has to be the Greatest season that I've ever been a supporter of this magnificent club
Ron, Rocky, Slasher and all you Chairboys - fine performance today, and much praise too for your very vocal fans, thirty or so of whom stopped behind at the end to clap as the team did its lap of honour. However, you had the misfortune to play us on our 'Day of Destiny'... Still pinching myself. Come On You Reds!
The chairboys fans were great and the team playopen attractive football, thought we were the better team in the first half and they were in the 2nd a draw may of been a fair result but ..CHAMPIONS and it feels goooood
Star man today the boy who invaded the pitch at the end avoided all the stewards ran length of the pitch and halfway back...joined in the celebratoins with Green and pritchard who inadvertantly got him caught by the stewards who frogmarched him off great fun.
Wycombe were a credit to League 1, they played some good football and should have come away with a point but...... this was our day....... not sure Wycombe could have done anything more today....... this was our day I have to say that I could see how Hayes would have helped them, with Hayes and Beavon up front I think we would have struggled.
My MoM today was Pritchard - sorry if I'm sounding like a stuck record - tenacious and creative. Goal or not, can't tell you how bad I thought Stephens was today. Someone should buy this bloke a compass to remind him which way he's kicking. If Pritchard and not him loses his place when Hollands comes back, I am not going to be an 'appy Addick.

He was the commentator on Player's choice as our Player of the Season. Peter Finch politely undermined that suggestion. The other frequent commentator keeps suggesting Jackson as our Player of the Season, and he is frequently nominated in these crappy "Best XI" type lists. Closer, but still a long way from winning a cigar. This is because these players are classy and attract the eye of those not familiar with the team. It's like my deep-seated grudge against wingers which I cannot help voicing every now and again. So many times opposing fans and neutrals will name a winger as a team's best player because they can look exciting and skilful, whereas the fans of the team have all come to learn that most wingers have a good game about one in ten matches and appreciate the ones who do produce the goods match after match like Morro, Solly, and Kermorgant. Bloody wingers! I say deport 'em all and replace them with some gritty Albanian central midfielders.
well done on your promotion, on any other day i think we could have taken something today but a mixture of motivation and defensive mistakes lost it for us. firstly credit to kermigant, what a free kick. thought our fans were great but i enjoyed your staduim and meeting some of your fans, a fantastic day out! good luck to you
When I handed in my Chris Solly vote for POTY today, the votes he's received have him walking away tonight with the trophy I think
Goal or not, can't tell you how bad I thought Stephens was today. Someone should buy this bloke a compass to remind him which way he's kicking. Completely agree.
