    Excellent rant, Rocky. :emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0171-star:

    Sounds like your ref and the one down The Valley were a right pair.

    Relieved to get this one over with a point intact, to be honest.

    League Cup diversion on Tuesday, then back to the serious stuff against Bury - onwards and upwards...

    Great honest assessment there Rocky. I got back from holiday today so wasn't at the game or the 2 Col U games and Orient. I kept up to date with what was happening and it all sounded so good until I read this. That's the problem with being on a good run though, it often comes unexpectedly crashing down. Time to show some character again and bounce back.

    very good asessment rocky, today was very poor. the decision to play halls baffled me, and i thought harding came on and did a better job. i also think bloomfield would have done a bettter job and he will not be in the team when lewis returns. the incident with lowe happened right in front of me, which to me was a blatent red card. a very poor attendence as well, it needs to pick up from somewhere

    Hey guys, went to the game y'day, not great but with a bit more composure/luck we might have sneaked a point. Strevens had an easy header which he put directly at the keeper, a penalty shout that could not of have been more nailed on, and how Lowe did not get sent off only that sad excuse for a referee will know (why did Grant get a yellow?!)

    Few observations. I thought Ainsworth looked old, anyone else think his legs might have gone, I thought the same about Leon in the League Cup against Col U. Scott Donnelly is class, and his dead ball delivery is excellent. John Halls is not Stuart Lewis, I think Bloomfield should have started instead, Harding is ok but he seems float in and out of the game. I liked Benyons cameo appearance, he seems like he might be one of those annoying strikers that opposition fans really dislike, always in the keepers face, biting defenders ankles, lets hope he has goals in him. Our defenders seem very static at times, both goals Bury scored our defence just seemed to be stuck to the spot watching the ball. It does annoy me when I hear boo's at the final whistle, we are not going to win every game that is a fact, and true our performance was not great but I could not fault the amount of effort our players put in, save the booing for a moment in the season when its truely justified.

    The attendence was very worrying, 3259!! I was also surprised by the poor turn out in the cup game against Col U, we got more than that a few years ago against Posh in the 1st round. Maybe Hayes is doing a tax fiddle...

    totally agree wandermagic,now is the time the squad have to show their bottle and a couple of hard games coming up will certainly prove if we have got that.

    the attendance was very worrying for a division one game,we were getting bigger crowds on a saturday game in the conference.the pricing is my reason for that ,its just too expensive if you go home and away

    The only players that really looked up for it today were Donnelly and Grant.
    Halls looked imobile and isn't a patch on Lewis (please get back from injury soon). Ainsworth was pretty ineffective and Strevens / Beavon / Benyon and Rendell did little to convince me that we were ever going to score.
    What a contrast versus the game at Gigg Lane last May. We were certainly up for it that day, but didn't show half the fight and passion yesterday.
    I'm sure the Wadfather will give them the necessary encouragement before next weekend!
