Back home and ****ing freezing!
Update ASAP.....but entertaining NYE, which may get in the way!
Happy New Year all, hopefully with a positive start to 2026. 2 nil with Robinson getting one.
Went to see Wycombe playing Maidstone in the FA Cup.....before they got admitted to EFL. Only time I've seen a professional game with 20 players all in the centre circle for goal kicks! Bizarre!!! Nil/nil result! Must have been about 1989 or so.

The last time I went to Wycombe I parked on a side street just away from the ground, it was like the southwest face of Everest! No hill assist so cue car rolling back and inches from the car parked behind, I eventually made it out without hitting anything. :emoticon-0138-think

Wycombe is a place I go to often. Not because of the football, but it's fairly close to our regular holiday cottage destination in the Chilterns.

It's really not a place I like at all - you need turbans and sari's to feel comfortable in the town - save for the glorious Hughenden Park to run the dogs and sometimes catch the "wildlife"..........<whistle>

Wycombe Council "acquired" and now run the park which is more than 60 acres from the Hughenden Manor Estate (Disraeli's family home) in settlement of a debt just before WW2 - in fact the basement of the Manor was used as a secret mapping base for the RAF for it's forays into Germany during the war.

Just thought you might like to know that. :emoticon-0138-think:emoticon-0138-think

Every day is a school day, in Masky's case it's St. Trinian's. :emoticon-0138-think

OK, here goes. I've mentioned a single goal victory for either side today, but what the hell..................

Wycombe 0 - 2 City with anyone but Salech to score.........<laugh>...........OK, I'll go for Robertson.

Having seen the line up, whole new back line pretty much, so think we'll concede..

Wycombe 1-1 City
Salech for the mighty table topping Bluebirds.

Cheers FFB <cheers>
