there was the odd whisper last season that we might be in for Toney! SEEMS NOW THAT BRENTFORD are putting pen to paper with a 5 year contract …. Brentford are showing real positive intent and must now revisit my predictions for the 20/21 final tables ..they could be in with a cast iron top of table finish ….. wondering … how does FFP fit in ? are they going for broke!

the media seem to be having a field day … with the odd one or 2 still harping on about the manager who never was ……
we have a new coach.... there is a difference between coach and manager and city seems to be intent on following up their 5 year plan 2020/21 season being year 5!
DH is widely touted to be in favour of 3 - 5 -2 ………….ummmmm :emoticon-0138-think a certain SC had the same vision and it failed … so what might be different …
well lets see …. you need a general, and should he become incapacitated a replacement , now these 2 could rule the middle, both start and both need replacements ...being more of a specialized position and allowing for subbing 4 players should/could fill this role with 3 playing as the starting line up.. next you have to have a couple of wide players able to get the ball up to the corner flag /cross/cut in etc .. very energetic as well as dropping back to protect their own corner flag or shore up the defence 2 capable subs / replacements required so 4 players ….= a total of 8 to cover 5 so who do we have?...……….

    Bakinson Eliasson
    Nagy, Massengo, Morrell,
    O'Dowda Paterson, Palmer
    Rowe Szmodics,
Walsh, and Williams ...12 you could make a case for Weimann but i would rather tag him to forwards

Well who is the central general? … Morrel? Williams seems a long way off [December? ] so what other 2 ? at this point I cant really see a workable "5" comments about Eliason … is Palmer about to be re incarnated? … bring in 2 more and that is 14 to fill 8 spots ………..
    anyone any clues????

Brentford are a well run, slick and very ambitious club. The complete opposite of Bristol City in fact

not sure what you are basing this on. Prior to this season they finished 9th, 10th, 9th, 11th pretty similar to us and oh they promoted their assistant manager to take over when their manager left. Now where did I hear that another club had done this?

their master stroke was signing Ollie from Exeter they were building a base and pretty much stuck to it sold the odd one [ as did City ] but not at a time it cost us a top 6 position. peeps say "lee" brought in all those players! however he had no control over his structure being dismantled for a profit ...in case! … Had JB stayed [ will never know of course ] may have made the top 6 even top 2! and now been in Prem and JB would still be a part!

only for everyone …… I think that is the slogan for BB hotels? in Le TOUR? ………….. ITS ON THEIR BUMS ……………
    INEOS
are not as strong this year … left out a couple of strong ones and fielded a weakened team … Egan Bernal does not look as right as he should be? .. first tour for a decade or so INEOUS the renamed team that previously was sky / etc will not win something! not even a stage!

contrary to reports elsewhere it seems Fammy is the victim of his agents! ...will he sign ? [ well his agents are after more money themselves? my thinking]
agents the stumbling block … they want him to run his contract down so are being less than helpful …. whisper whisper … still 3 offers on the table it seems!

What I cannot understand is, who is in charge the player or the agent? if the agent is going against the players wishes it's simple sack the money grabbing parasite.

Me I think it's an excuse and the player has to be complicit, otherwise the agent is sacked.

BBC news today had a professor from Cambridge on, about 10 mins, discussing covd in many aspects including the young do not yet know what "dormant attributes it may have on their future health …..! one point he made was learning from others, Spain, France, Belgium and Germany … and the major problems, just like ours they have encountered ..especially with people who have not got it [or symptoms] clogging up the system and getting tests done and results out … I highlight problems with tests …. next up SKS HIS ONLY GROUSE WAS TESTING blamed lack of it on the government and the exam results..... but we support the government, we are not trying to make political gain.

covid … deaths set to rise as is total positives .. look out for a super peak last week of SEPTEMBER FIRST WEEK of OCTOBER result of the super AS* H*LES this weekend …

SPIKE PROTEIN [glycoprotein] main role is infectivity. the spike is the bit that joins to human cells ..penetrates them, this then enables them to replicate at a greater speed than sometimes the body can counter act? A drug "implanted" within this pocket? could cause this spike to fail? Drug being worked on / to be found … [my interpretation of discussion]
