I think its the fact that this season is panning out almost exactly like their many other underwhelming seasons, like clockwork, It's almost too funny !
A bad season for Arsenal would be the best that Southampton could dream of, have you ever won anything?
I think in terms of size and scale the Saints have been outperforming Arsenal for quite some time now. If I were a gunner I wouldn't be belittling any other English club, especially considering how Arsenal have further damaged the reputation of English football on the continent last night !
Quantify outperforming ? Have you won anything in last 5,10,20,30 years ? Errr no so **** off, even Portsmouth won the FA Cup the other year so they are better than Southampton

The reason why there are so many threads about Arsenal, is because the Gooners on this site have been giving it large about everything, and yet they are heading for a seaon having nothing.
Spurs are ahead of them in the table, and they have suffered a humiliating home defeat in the CL. Can it get much worse for them? Every neutral (except Fossil) hopes so.

You forgot to mention the hiding they took off Saints at St.Marys. I think because we are so far South they thought it was a european game.
