Thing is that's surface are - 16000 square miles but how much ocean? How deep is the ocean as well - Last I checked planes don;t float - if it's in there and, as would probably happen by now, the residue which would identify it (Oil/Fuel etc) would dissipate after time, I'll be amazed if it's ever found if they haven't found it yet. Just glad the UK Taxpayers aren't paying for it - although Cameron will want to brown-nose so may send some troops over soon!!

My epiphany. Seriously. Someone on that plane destined for Bejing was not wanted to land. Either by the Chinese or another state (USA?). There is a rabbit off here.
