Who gives a **** what anyone in the media says about us?

I can't think of a situation where media hype has ever helped a team, apart from man utd being televised every game all through the 90's, and that is a purely financial benefit.

If any manager, or player listens to ex-players who can't get a proper job in football, they would not be where they are now. Until I hear a scout or an actual premiership manager say they think we will go down, I am going to ignore this bull ****.

For example, I read one analyst, whose name escapes me now, say on Twitter, "Swansea will get mullered this season. If any Swans fans disagree with me, come back to me after six games". The fact that the league is 38 games long seems irrelevant to this 'expert', and is indicative of the short sightedness that most analysts suffer from.

That was the Sunday Mirror hack who reckoned that Williams was going to QPR and Taylor to Newcastle , basically a complete twat of a bloke who thinks it was a done deal, and he reckons he broke all kinds of stories, forgetting the fact that his rumours at the mirror runs at about 85% pure bullshit, even they I guess will get some right!

Yes, Shearer thinks we're the best equipped to stay up so hope he's right.

As for the Football Focus piece, it was a few minutes of an interview with Rodgers and a ballerina dressed in black cavorting around in the background. The goal they actually showed was Sinclair's second pen in the playoff final. Didn't think to show his earlier goal or better still Dobbie's exquisite 20 yard volley. Lee Dixon fancied Norwich to stay up and Lawrenson said (cough cough) QPR. Pathetic.

I think our lads are going to relish proving the pundits wrong.

Wow. You are a rubbish WUM. Enjoy Brighton midweek, while we play the richest club in the world in the best league in the world.

Even if we come straight back down, we will be in better shape than you for years and years

I'm getting 13-1 against us beating Man C. Love those odds. We're
much better than that. United played a young team against City and they won. What does that tell you about how good City are. An abysmal defense error allowed the winning goal. We have to believe we can take it to any team
we play. Have faith ... Lots of it and pray for Tate on Monday.

The apology needed is for your abysmal spelling and grammar, don't your teachers teach you anything in class ?

Anyway, good luck tonight. First 20 minutes will be very important.

Can't see Cardiff coming up from what I've seen so far. Lucky 92nd minute winners won't be the norm this season. The Hammers should have won easily and Brizzle are rubbish. Sterner tests will come. If you couldn't do it with 8 Prem star loanees you're not going to do it this time.

Oh and the Swans are unlikely to get anything tonight but we will avoid relegation.

cardiff played well against the wurzels and to call them rubbish after two games is beyond me.....they did great at west ham and they did enough at oxford to win, you cant ask for more than that.....they look like they are gelling into a good team so far and i hope they can join us in the premiership, i thought that they would struggle but after watching them on the net it looking like malky could turn out to be another Martinez and get his team playing good football....3 competitive games and 3 wins is a great start. we have a big ask this season and it will be touch and go whether we will be good enough. nobody can judge us on tonight's game as city are too big and powerful.... its the bottom half teams that we may have a chance against and even they will be very difficult....will we survive....i dont know and neither will anyone else will yet.....i hope so but its a tall order....
