Nice. "I don't really care either way, cheers, not my problem". Inspiring. Obviously "I love this club and I owe the owners and fans big time. I'm going to help keep us up". Even if its a lie (which Redknapp is no stranger to of course) it would pleasant to at least have the impression he might be up for a fight.

I reckon Warnock was under pressure to sign players when Tony took over. SWP was available, we had a new Chairman trying to impress everyone that he meant business and a honest Manager who was a little star-struck having had to make do with players like Clint and Shaun Derry previously.

I was finished with him after he joined in the celebrations with the city players after the 'Aguerrro!' game. All that travelling support bleeding heart and soul and he is celebrating with our opponents. You couldn't make it up.

You know what, I actually think this is a calculated media 'rant' by Redknapp. He has to move someone out to bring another player in by the sounds of things, so who can he pick on? Tried Taarabt, now its SWP's turn.

In the case of Taarabt he came out and said he was overweight by three stone - which he wasn't.
In this case he has said SWP won't go out on loan because he's on a good contract here.

Well firstly, the parent club subsidise wages anyway, and secondly - Jermaine Jenas on 5Live tonight said he knows for a fact that SWP would take a pay cut to go on loan.

Whilst I don't like SWP or Redknapp - I actually think in this case Redknapp is again trying to take the attention and pressure off himself.

 

SWP doesn't have to be in the 25 even if he is still at the club!

 

But wasn't it Phillips who kicked all this off? Redknapp was only responding to a question about Phillips' newspaper article the way I seen it?

 

For 60 Grand a week I would be more than happy to be sworn at
