i go to newport quite often. i practise what i preach.... always **** on the welsh side of the bridge (to the same tune as 'always look on the bright side of life') only joking ROD why is it though that it cost money to cross the bridge (free for me though) to get into wales but cost nothing to leave wales? never understood that.
No she went to Uni when I was 15 we had moved back to Chepstow when I was 4 then a few years in Gloucester then back to Chepstow, then she went to Bristol Uni and we all moved over when I was 19. She is in the research dept for business in Cardiff now. It used to be paid both ways, but when the traffic increased they made it paying into Wales so the queuing traffic built up on land, instead of the bridge as the weight restrictions were decreased over time. So they then had to maintain it with he new one. But the joke over here is you only pay for the good things, hence it's free to get into England. I'm only really Welsh with the rugby other than that I'm British.
