Buzzing for Andy Smith, should start at Wembley be a good experience to come back to us with.

He appears to be doing really well with them!

If they go up, I think he should stay there next year.

The quality of that play off game was really high, there wasn't much difference between that and the bottom of L1

Defending set pieces was a bit schoolboy.

Quality entertainment though.

Yeah they really need to revamp the promotion and relegation between league 2 and national league. Teams like Wrexham are ambitious but fall victim to the play off system and only 1 automatic place.

Great result and win for GY, 2 games in a week going to extra time and winning them both. Interesting where they played Smith, not in the back 4 as usual, must have used him as a deep-lying midfielder, unless the BBC got it wrong in the team news?

I thought this was a 3pm Kick Off.

Bit gutted as I saw them beat Notts Co on TV and it was very apparent they had the fight to win these play offs. They were 15/2 to win promotion after the Notts game, and I've been meaning to put a bet on all week. Thought I'd do it this afternoon with a few horses, but then, as about to do so, realise the game's nearly done and it's 4-4.

Nevermind.

I can't say I know much of this division, but with such momentum, I'd be surprised if they don't complete the job.
You have a better chance of winning the bet if you know the result first.

He played the left of three centre backs. Another ex-Tiger played for Grimsby, Gavin Holohan, though he only ever sat on City's bench and mever made a first team competitive appearance.

Wrexhams front three have been brilliant all season. Always a story about promotion from the National league as the top 4/5 innit would do ok in League 2.

There is money in Wrexham as Mullin is on £5k a week and Palmer was bought in Jan for a fee.

Their depth is the reason for today as two first choice defenders and their GK have been out at varying parts of the season

Mullin would score in the Championship. He plays like Vardy does

grimsby might have walked that division had it not been for an abject crash in form covering the second quarter of the season.

i spotted and posted some time ago about how they won 9 of their first 12 games but only 2 of the next 12. i'm now aware that with only 23 teams in the division the season was only 44 games long, but that'll allow me to go back and break their season into quarters.

q1 w8 d2 L1 26 pts
q2 w3 d1 L7 10 pts
q3 w6 d2 L3 20 pts
q4 w6 d3 L2 21 pts

13 defeats with7 of them, more than half, in that second quarter.

wiping that 2nd quarter and replacing it with an average of the other three quarters (22pts) would have put them second, a point above wrexham. if they could have maintained that 1st quarter form they'd have topped stockport by 10 pts.

We had the discussion a few weeks back about how some people will watch any football, purely as they love watching football Even so, I'm impressed you watch enough bottom of L1 football to form this opinion.

Presumably streaming iFollow/IPTV or is it available somwhere else?

Solihull Moors vs Grimsby next Sunday at West ham.

Is Solihull a combination of Solihull Town and Vauxhall Moors or have I made that up?
