A real worthy winner having led the table since November. Congratulations also to runner up NZHorn who closed the gap a little in recent weeks but could not quite bridge it

Thank you very much Leo for doing it. It has been fun and just goes to show how unpredictable the Championship is. Some weeks I have looked at the results in disbelief. A couple of good weeks then a poor run is normal for me, so I am just about where I expect to finish.

 

Thanks a lot for taking the trouble to do this every week Leo, it's been a lot of fun. Didn't quite expect to finish up where I did - just shows the advantages of not being able to count beyond 2 ! Hope you do it next year as well. My final predictions :

Leicester v Watford 1-3
Watford v Leicester 2-1

Final. Brighton v Watford 1-2 (Doyley with the winner)

Congrats to all, many thanks Leo. It wouldnt have been possible with out you. Im gutted with how it ended, from consistent top 10 to bottom half in a few months. Talk about bottling it.

 

YOur mistake was topping me for one week - I put the voodoo curse on anyone who went ahead of me - but unfortunately it did not work on most - and in fact I told Gordon that he had failed to predict the Huddersfield game - so he did - got it correct and his 15 points took him above me - oh how that hurt

 

Ouch, that has to smart. Well, the manager was sacked and a new system will be put in place for next season.

 

Thanks Leo...if only I hadn't forgotten to post that one week when I scored 117 points...I coulda bin top a the world...

 

Thank you Leo. I am absolutely amazed that I managed to be runner up to Cologne. I was sensible enough not to leave the final result to a penalty shoot-out against anyone with German connections, though.

 

I forgot/was locked in the tank/too hungover to post on three occasions - oh what could have been. A WPL Europa League place ??

Seriously though - great job and thanks Leo.

 

Oh but your conscience feels all the better for it. Doesn't it? Doesn't it???

thanks so much Leonardo for all your hard work this year for the league. A 16th place finish was higher than i expected..i think it's my highest finish yet! lol

H, we are in for a summer reshuffle with the current manager moving upstairs to concentrate on corporate matters and to spend more time on the golf course His younger and evil twin brother is now at the helm for the forseeable future
