WPL League Position

Wow - a record scoring week - with over 2000 pooints earned. Helped by our famous victory over Millwall and no fewer than 8 of us correctly predicted the score.

There is one undisputed star of the week though - Hornette. Four correct predictions (including Watford), four other correct results - and she did not even predict the Norwich score - so only one match she failed to get at least the right result - added to that she was the only one to correctly predict the Brentford Derby score - and amassed a massive 184 points - hats off to our H.

Three others managed to exceed 100 points - Hackney, Chris and yours truly reversing the recent slump in results.

We welcome two new posters too - the great return of Andytoprankin and his son with the superb handle MatejVydra. Son trounced Dad with an impressive 88 points in his first ever prediction getting two correct results and correctly forecasting a 2 goal win for Watford.

Not sure where Brag has got to - but his failure to predict drops him to fourth - I suspect he is just toying with us. Only 69 points now separates 1st from 7th place

A disappointing week for most of us - when Watford lose not surprisingly our scores plummet - but Zen made hay and scored most of his points today by being one of only two to predict an Ipswich win - and being the only one to get that score correct. His reward is top spot. Three others managed to find unique results but only Hackney managed to couple that with other good predictions and top the ton. Second week in a row that Matej comes out on top in the father son contest and he is now poised to overtake his first "regular"

Star of the week is Mark who leaps from 12th into the top ten at number 8 - with 3 correct scores including (boo) Watford. Unluckily for him Andy also predicted the correct Watford score (boo) in his attempt to chase after his son. Matej has claimed his first victim climbing above our stepdown Mod. His sights must now be set upon the new Mod - who will drop further unless he resumes predicting

Yokshire may be beginning a late run with an impressive 89 which lifts him 4 places too. I won't mention a new record set by 2Ross - null points - from the predictions - only bettered by H - who again forgot to predict - what is it with our Mods and predicting????

So now we have a breakaway group of 3 forming at the top - but there are plenty within one good week of joining them
