Roy Hodgson was today confirmed as the new boss at West Brom. They're currently just out of the relegation zone by goal difference. Do you think he can save the Baggies from relegation?

I think he can. Was a bit out of his depth at Liverpool but I think West Brom are slightly more his level. I think his ultra defensive tactics on away days will be much more suited to them but he'll have to get some results at home also. It'll be a last day battle but I think he can keep them up.

Feel sorry for Di Mateo, did not think he deserved the sack, and I belive he was their best chance of survival. Saying that Roy has a point to prove, and it wouldnt surprise me if they stayed up.

I reckon they will go down though.

I'm sure he can. I think he'll even do more than that and, if they stay up, will propel them to upper-lower table standards. Hope the West Brom fans aren't expecting to watch good attacking football though cus if so they're going to be in for a shock. Stoke MK 2 in the making....

My prayers go out to Baggies fans at this most difficult of times.

They shouldn't dwell on how close they came to having Chris Hughton, for lingering on it will only cause them more distress.

However, from the Premier League's point of view it's a welcome return to its foremost facerubber.

I don't wish him well and I don't wish him ill.

Basically I don't care about him one way or another. Wouldn't say I like or dislike him anymore.

Di Matteo being sacked is ****ing ridiculous. don't care about Roy... i don't want to see him anywhere near anfield again... the fact he tried to sell Agger and contradicted himself in almost every interview proves he's an idiot!

Roy Hodgson is a legend. He is an artist of management.

He would have done so well at Liverpool. Now he will take his new team to glory.

Gotta say.....could give two Shizzles as to what Roy Hodgson is doing... he was not the right man, never was, and we almost went down some dark paths because of it. We are playing better football with a man who cares and that is what I am focusing on.

Watching one of my Favorite Movies ( as it deals with where I come from) Hustle and Flow and as they say " There are those who talk the talk and those who walk the walk" Kenny walks it, Roy talked it. end of.
