Worked out well for Van Gaal but I do think they are going on too much about his 'genius'. He had a much better squad of players to work with than the Costa Rican manager and the margins in the end were very tight. Personally think he should have made changes earlier in the game. That said Krul did look good on the penalties, could have saved more than the two he did - was close to most/all of them. Always looks terrible for ones for us, god our manager is ****e.
Well it burst into life eventually & ended up really enjoying it. Navas & Gonzalez were simply superb.

We went 4 years ago and it is absolutely stunning. It was very cheap as well. Make sure you are in the area of the Arenal volcano, it is paradise, some of the accommadation is beautiful around there, villas set in the trees and the people are so so friendly. Beaches are beautiful as well.
Cheers Gonna seriously consider it, like I said were looking at Trinidad but wasn't 100% on that, so will have a good look into this.
Ha, To be honest mate I get bored on the water, if I had a yacht I'd only go on it when it was moored, I like a day on a boat, or a fishing trip, but plodding about for days on end? **** that bollocks. The fact I haven't got millions of pounds banked is also a factor...
Columbia and Costa Rica have been the highlights for me, the top teams, although they are the best organised and technically brilliant are poor to watch.
I was out on the lash last night so missed this game..Pleased that Holland won though as I would love an all European final..
