    OTBC sounds like an overenthusiastic Victorian five-year-old with mental problems at his first football match. Dire, dire song. Well, if you can even call it that. As if its main rallying line 'on the ball city' is even inspirational as well. It means **** all. 'You'll never walk alone', 'Marching on together', 'Blue is the colour', 'Come on you Spurs'. At least those sound vaguely inspiring.

    Well I am an aficionado of football songs.
    Our song has been around wayyyyyyyy longer than your uninspired one, which is the same as others. Liverpool ruined you'll never walk alone (and stole it off Celtic anyway) plus its not theirs, they didnt even change the lyrics. Thats as much our chant as theirs. West Hams is OK.

    Ours is a blend of beautifully composed lyrics with a tribal passion and exhilarating pace. Yet it still manages to keep a fun, happy undertone to it like the olden days. Add to this that it has a jaunty tune and at some points haunting melody and you have the perfect football song. On The Ball City - the oldest known football song!
