One employer, but a number of different roles and projects within that. All of which I had to apply for or be selected for based on merit. Those doing the selecting have included Privy Councillors, Cabinet Ministers and Peers. Quite a contrast to Stan the Charity Shop supervisor
Are my taxes paying Stan the Charity shop supervisor's wages? Is Stan going to get a knighthood and a very nice pension thank you simply for time serving? I think not. Neither are the workers at CAFC. But they still have to put food on the table.
The exception is Richard Murray, who should undoubtedly walk away. He'll say it would be worse without him, which is what we doctors call a rationalisation. He is complicit in Roland's wilful destruction of CAFC.
You really do make some ridiculous comments. Your taxes pay for this months state pensions and benefits
Me thinks you have deliberately misread Lardi's reply... I am sure Lardi knows what his taxes are spent on...
Attention, pompous bottom alert. So basically you have had to swallow s*** during this time and not moved on like you keep advocating with staff at Charlton Athletic Stan the Charity Shop man is obviously not worthy due to his employment position.
I wasn't trying to offend, just a bit of leg pulling really. Every civilised society needs a robust public sector and I certainly don't begrudge my taxes paying for nurses, doctors, policemen, firefighters, soldiers, care workers, all manner of important utility and community services where these are not privatised. There are a few things I'm a bit less keen on funding, though I recognise the money has to come from somewhere; The lifestyle of the Royal family, legal aid for scumbags, luxury prisons, the BBC, about half the foreign aid budget, top civil servants... And there are one or two things that really get my tax goat; The London Stadium, faith schools, NHS boob jobs for Katie Price wannabes, 6 bedroom mansions for asylum seekers, the other half of the foreign aid budget... and of course, the EU.
