I'm sure the death threats aren't nice but he has no reason to believe that's going to be acted on. As someone who's partner was a Glasweigen I can tell you it's not something people regularly lose sleep over.

With Rangers in the state they're in it is the easiest job in football next season, hands down.

Supers, don't think your view might be coloured by your connection to the other club in glasgow do you? I know lots of folk that know Neil Lennon, grew up with him in Armagh and still see him, they have a rather different view to you.

possibly, i won't lie. but i met him when he was a crewe player and again when at leicester city, so wouldn't have known about the celtic connection that would later become evident. may be clouding my judgement looking back. he really was horrible though...

Lets not start having a go before we even know who it is, Bruce come on he spent £8 million on Conboy Wickham !!

I want to see Culverhouse stand up and say he will do it come on McNally make him an offer he cant refuse and screw up Villa good and proper, after all Lambert has said so many times he is the brains behind the outfit

^ This, very much this <ok> Not because of the screwing Villa up bit but because of the continuity aspect

Culverhouse and karsa would go, will be very interesting to see what the board are looking for

Maybe we should draw up a "list" of candidates and disturb everyone's team by sniffing around being qraeholes like Liverpool and villa did.

the talks that are ongoing will be about how much we get for both culverhouse and karsa as well as lambert. there is no point suggesting him as manager (and i think he'd be a good one too - he basically runs the club anyway) because he's off. 100% guaranteed. no offer will keep him.

So Lambert can have ambition but Culverhouse can't?

I think if Culverhouse stays it has to be him as it gives us our best shot of continuity. I should imagine he is competent enough not to do a 'Terry Connor' too.

he doesn't want to leave lambert. they work as a team and that's how it's going to be for the foreseeable future. ask anybody who knows him - that's why he can be ruled out 100%

Why? Remember Culverhouse is a Norwich legend as a player - and is probably happily settled in Norfolk too!

he'd not lived here for years till lambert came along. honestly, i know people think the ex-norwich thing helps but he is definitely, 100% off to villa with lambert.
