To the original question ... no, NP is a class manager, as Leicester fans have always said, but given the ammount of money Sven has been given, i don't believe he would have got such a strong squad.

(i don't think theres much doubting that we do have a strong squad on paper, but will agree that they are yet to becomea stong team)

i actually agree 100% with this. LCFC lost 2 of the last 3 games scoring 2 and conceeding 5 to strugglers birmingham and millwall. matt mills out suspended again @ west ham, this saturday. could be a very long day @ upton park.

I never wanted Pearson to be pushed out and I certainly didn't want Sven. BUT I don't want Pearson back and I don't want Sven out either. I thought when he joined it was a circus but i was wrong and I actually like him (bar his insistance on not utilising teh width that we need). sven all seaosn for me. idiots that phone in calling for his head are either kids or thickoes with no understanding that sacking a manager now would kill our season and many players (all of whom seem to love Sven) would drift.

I very much doubt NP would come back to Leicester but I really rate him as a manager - I was absolutely gutted when he left (And also the way it was done - thanks mm) especially when that plank Sousa was then put in charge. NP bought us from the worst period in our history and created a team that bar a penalty kick & another 90mins of football may be playing in the premiership and I think he's one of the top few English managers about, I for one wish him all the best whichever club he goes - our loss was definitely Hulls gain.

Btw some of his press conferences are awsome as well - don't think he liked Ian Stringer much!

Hull gets a bad press but I love the place, its got its own off the beaten track character. My grandmother lived at the Marina till recently and always loved coming to visit and that pub (Minerva?) by the Humber, and the KC is great stadium. Will be coming up to see my cousins soon and look forward to watching a game hopefully

This is a pointless thread. As if we'd be stupid enough to let Nigel Pearson go? You'd have to be demented.

As if he'd be stupid enough to want to go back! At the KC he has Board, owners and fans who all appreciate and support him. Why would he want to go back to a smaller club?

Maybe he reads Tony Warner's Wanger's posts and the guff on the HDM?

What about Burnsey? He might make me move to Leicester.

You're the smallest club he's managed by a mile and that includes Carlisle.

NP = best LCFC manager since MON. Since 1978 my best city managers have been:

    1. MON
    2. Jock Wallace
    3. NP.

NP created a band of brothers whose sum was greater than it's parts. That ****er Manderic disposed ogf NP in a vile, cuel, and unjustified way.....but we move on. NP isnt coming back and it wouldnt work if he did with the players we have. Sven is the man and he has my backing.

No I wouldn't have Pearson back. His time here was good, but chances are he wouldn't do as well the second time. If we do start to look at other managers, they will be of a much higher calibre.

Regarding Hull...easily the worst place I have even been to, and I've been to many places in the UK via work. In addition, we had a family from Hull move across the road from us a couple of years ago. They were so awful, we had to move house because of them. The mother was a crack head who had two of her kids taken off her, the dad was a thug who used to beat her and her two remaining kids. The kids in turn were bullies. Nobody wanted to have anything to do with them, but in Hull apparently, they were the norm and had loads of friends.

Too true, mate. The thing you notice about the story is that no-one in the house appears to be working. How did they move? Was it a 'witness programme' move made by the cops? Who knows, but it sounds like a Jackanory to me....:emoticon-0105-wink:

To be honest, I just cut and paste the blokes tag-line. Thought it was a bit ironic really.
