Would definitely have Song over Tiote every day of the week, Song is more of an all round player, he can do everything Tiote can do and more, hes good at breaking up the play albeit not QUITE as good as Tiote but close enough, plus he has the ability to get forward, score the odd goal and press the play forward a lot more than Tiote.

I would definitely rather have Song at this moment in time, but I'm noticing a change in Tiote when hes played this season, he seems to be attempting to get forward more and has even whipped the odd ball into the box, possibly adapting his game to a new level? We'll wait and see.

Mr Tiote - I just put it down to him being a plank who can't read very well, so if I abused him he probably wouldn't get it <laugh>

    Oh dear <doh>

We were going so well. If you don't get the purpose of the thread ask someone with better reading skills than yourself <ok>

I wrote clearly that I am trying to guage what fans of clubs in the top 10 think of Alex Song and would they swap him for their own version. It really isn't that difficult to comprehend ... is it ? There is nothing sinister here, I am not Song's agent, I personally don't rate him and as part of an ongoing argument I am having about whether or not Song could play for another top club I am asking the question to fans of those clubs.

He just can't adjust to the idea of Sunderland being in the top ten, or of anyone caring what their supporters think. Years of inadequacy have left their scars.

Song is more progressive in his passing and more of an attacking threat but, along with De Jong, Tiote is the best in the league at breaking up opposition attacks.

I love tiote, but honestly, Songs passing has become different class. I want to say no, but for strictly footballing reasons, should be a yes. Not going happen anyway. Song is a machine, so is Tiote though. Both in the same team would probably dominate the league for the next 5-6 years.
