No we need to keep hold of our best players and build a team to compete for the top 4.

    No.

How often do you get a top 4 quality player for £3.5mill? We spent very little and got ourselves one piece of the top 4 jigsaw puzzle, which barely any teams have outside of the CL spots. We should appreciate that we got him so cheap and hang onto him, because he's an extremely important player.

Agree with this. Yes we got him and various others who are good players on the cheap and Graham Carr has worked wonders but there isn't an infinite number of such players, the wage budget is now under control and being managed, it's time to start building a team around the bargains we've been lucky enough to get and not expect us to be as lucky as we have with players over & over again.

    Morning gents,
I think my answer would be yes. If a big team offered around 30 million for Tiote we should definately consider it.
I personaly love Tiote and think he's a brilliant player, he's still at a young age too so will only improve. But I don't think he's very consistent in his form. I remember too many games where his passing has been awful and his presence hasn't been as strong on the field.
So I believe there is definately a better player than Tiote out there, so if we have a replacement lined up then yeah we should sell him and make a decent profit.
    If not, forget it Ashley.
