The only issue for me is wages. He's still young enough and I think he's a quality player at heart. If the wages situation can be sorted, it's a no brainer: a player on great form, dictating games is not a thing to turn your back on.
In considering whether to consign one's relationship with a boy to history, one should weigh whether his capacity momentarily to exhilarate sufficiently balances the accumulated days of indifference or of efforts petering into limp disappointment. One should reflect as to what "standards", in the context of one's own current powers of attraction and prevailing mood, it will be practical and apposite to apply. One should not neglect the comforts of an established familiarity in which the young man's foibles are at any rate unhidden and his own education as regards one's needs, wants and appetites is sufficiently advanced for these to be met with such wit and instinct as he possesses. One should, too, weigh the extent to which his known beauty, virility and sheer animal allure might be outshone by such other available princes as might in addition possess the thrill of the unexplored.
And then one should ask, what will he charge?
Of course we should keep him.
No brainer.
Pretty much spot on.The only issue for me is wages. He's still young enough and I think he's a quality player at heart. If the wages situation can be sorted, it's a no brainer: a player on great form, dictating games is not a thing to turn your back on.
Don't think we can afford to keep him
On a sensible salary then yes, but I wouldn't want the rest of the squad getting pissed off because he is on double what they are.Depends whether he'll take a pay cut to stay, I can't see any big clubs matching his current deal...
