I had to leave after 74 minutes, roughly about the time Torres got his hat-trick.This was as much to do as the result and the four plumbs stood behind me who continuously chanted that JT was a ****, for the whole game. I relalise that when you take kids to football that they are going to be exposed to a certain degree of language I've been guilty of myself in the past. But at what point do you not realise that their are two young girls in front of you, that you then realise that what you keep chanting is un acceptable. Of course I realise that kid's are going to hear things that they may not expect to hear around the home. That's to a certain degree is OK, I know that they can leave this stuff at the stadium. But where do we draw the line? Do we not take kids to away games? Do we stop taking them to football at all? These are the new generation that we are trying to prevent from following the glory teams, which is the easy and soft option. West Brom and Bolton isn't going to happen and rightly so. But we must stop our junior hoops from swaying towards Utd and Chelsea.
999, that's a fair reason mate, no child should have to sit and listen to that. Wonder if the other 15,099 will come in and let us know why? lol.
So stupid walking out when GD could keep you up. And your only Prem game against Chelsea for another 20 years. You even scored v the European finalists: a once in a generation experience missed and one to tell your grandkids. Maybe if you sang and followed your team like Swansea fans (who made far more noise at the Bridge) then your team would not give up like your fans
