Would you be morally/ethically comfortable as a Man City o Leicestan fan now?

I don't mind tbh. I just thought OLM's post made a nice change from constantly bashing PL footballers (particularly English ones). Mine was a sarcastic remark. I don't care how much sex they have or who with.

<applause> it's a massively valid point mussie, an average of 2.7k per player is pitiful when you consider what some players are on. Add to that what you've just said about how much more they'll be earning thanks to the budget and it's pathetic.

All my life i've hated Man Utd, yet nowadays i support them to win the league over Man City & Chelsea because of how much more i dislike the way they've bought success. And to anyone who says how much Man Utd have spent on success need to see Ricardo's thread (titled something about Wolves being in the Champions League) where it states how they're one of about 4 teams that could afford to cut ticket prices and stay within the financial fair play rules.

So no, ethically i wouldn't be happy if we became a club that simply tried to buy success with a mega rich owner

Man Utd broke the transfer record for 3 seasons running.

They bought their success, and now they have the foundations to show for it - so they don't need to spend quite as much any more.

Besides, it is now pretty much impossible for a team to stand a chance of winning the Premier League without doing what Man City have done. Do we condemn them for wanting to win things? I don't want to see the same teams at the top for the next 50 years, never to be challenged.
