but Bale is younger .. that is the dilemma.. we already have enough classy players upfront at the age of 27-29

that was only one time though bcz he used his pace .. since then he become in vidic's pocket .. beside we paid 7m for vidic.. how much you paid for torres again ? <laugh>
beside you are losing the logic here? Valencia worth more bcz he made Ashley cole look like sh!t .. same reason why Torres was valued 50m bcz he was that good before he made Vidic look bad

Bale is the Young pretender to Ronoldo, but if he keeps progressing at the rate he is it won't be long till he is on a par, but for me as much as Ronaldo is a Man Utd Icon I think Bale would be more financially the better option younger and give him an 8yr contract and tie him down,

Bale is younger but not sure he will ever be quite as good as Ronaldo. As brilliant as BAle is. Plus Bale is a bit injury prone

Ronaldo is twice the player Bale will ever be. Although Bale is one of the best players in the league at the moment, he's not fit to lace Ronaldo's boots. With the physical condition Ronaldo keeps himself in, he'll be able to play well into his 30s, and I'm sure as his pace goes he'll be able to adapt his game to utilize his exception footballing talent.

This isn't to say I wouldn't want to sign Bale, but if there's a choice between one or the other, it's Ronaldo every day of the week.

Let's not get carried away with the contract lengths, we can see what's happening to Pardew.

I think signing Bale would be a typical thing for United to do. Just like we signed Ronaldo and made him the world's best, well that's another argument. Bale will be an interesting project for Fergie though a short one.

  12. Didn't you sign Ronaldo when he was just 18? Bale is already established as a top player in world football, stepping up to one of the elite clubs could propel him into the world class, alternatively he could just be another player at a club with better player. As much as I wouldn't like it, I think Bale and Man Utd would be a great fit.

I'd like both. Bale on the left, ronnie on the right. Then buy a psycho for centre mid. Job done.

You're just being silly now, they'd never break through into your first team with such world class talents you have in the team..

Bale would suit us very much, Winger's are one of the key player's in our team as we play mostly through wingers.

If there is another team in the league that would suit Bale, that would be us.

Also Bale scores goals too, i think that's important too because after Ronaldo left us, we are lacking much goals form our wingers, Antonio Valencia's game is making goals not scoring goals. Nani only scores now and then. Ryan Giggs scores now and then too but he is mostly played in midfield. The amount of time this season where Winger's get in a shooting area and rather then having a pop at goal they try crossing the ball or pass the ball rather then having a go, thats one of the reasons we need Bale, Nani is our only winger at the moment who actually does have a pop ong oal when he gets in a shooting area but the thing with him he mostly makes bad decisions, when Nani gets in shooting area he sometimes tries to pass it but when he gets in a place where he has to pass it, he tries to have a shot and waste the chance and make the crowd groan at him, he's at the moment our best winger in skill wise but just inconstant.

Thats why we need Bale. A player like him will only make us better and we can get goals out of him too, Bale is also very very fast. I know he's not fit enough to sign Ronaldo's laces and no where near as good as Our icon Ronaldo,, he is that Ronaldo type of player we need. Someone that even when they are having a bad games can still come up with something special to win us the game like Ronaldo used to do sometimes.

but like the reports say which i don't believe, i wouldn't mind getting Ronaldo back here too. That would be perfect. Hopefully soon, our legend returns.
