Its a risk you have to take.

But if you sell your academy players as soon as they show a little potential you will never see players break though

Say we sold Andy King for about 1M after we got relegated. We would look pretty stupid now

But then on the other side we turned down bids for Joe Mattock at one point rumoured to be around 5M.

Its a case of the the academy coaches and Nigel assessing what they think about Moore. If they think he will make it keep him if they dont sell him

I'd sell him for £5m with a percentage sell on clause, maybe £5m plus 25% of the next sale?

Me personally I wouldnt sell him for a penny less then 10M.

Its very rare now someone from the academy neither mind a local lad breaks through and most of you seem happy to sell for 2-3M. Its not like the club needs the money, Moore has alot of potential. Nigel sees it and so does alot of the Prem clubs by the looks of things. We shouldnt shift him just to make a quick buck.

If he did go we would be due compensation. And by the sounds of things from his twitter account he doesnt want to go, he was saying yesterday he is trying to win a new contract. I think there is one coming his way soon. Maybe Nigel dont want to give him one straight away incase he becomes complacent

What people say isnt always what they mean.

If he has 6 months left of his contract you would be lucky to get £10m for Van Persie yet alone Liam Moore!!

We would be due compensation for Moore. Arsenal wouldnt have for RVP

The 10M is only to scare clubs off, if someone is stupid enough to pay it then its their problem

Its good news for Leicester City as a club more than the player. If one of the big boys comes knocking then he will go but at least you will get a fair price + a sell on. I wonder what the contract is actually worth ?

Will he play sunday or will it be SSL ?

Not sure. He wasn't involved at all last game so would guess SSL may keep his place.

SSL is a mistake waiting to happen. From our point of view i hope SSL plays.

Moore must be injured then. Cheers.

Moore is fine. Nigel choose St. Ledger because of his experience, Moore is only 19 years old and is mainly a right back. Ledge will defo play as we look a lot more solid at the back with Wes and Ledge

Cheers Proud. Thats good to know from a Hull point of view. SSL has the experience i agree but also prone to costly mistakes.
