MH didn't address the defence as a priority in the off season. TF thought we'd already done an incredible bit of business so he obviously had no idea, we were spanked 5-0 at home in the first game of the season and here we are.....who will be running up the club stairs a minute before the deadline? Why isn't TF on not606? He did say fans are the best source of ideas!
He has formed a strong relationship with Ledley King in his time at Spurs. It was announced on 27 January 2010 that he had signed a new five year contract with Tottenham Hotspur taking him to 2015. Dawson's excellent performances throughout the course of the season saw him awarded Tottenham Hotspur's Player of the Year award. His form that season led to Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez calling him "the best English defender I have played against" due to his strength. What more do some of you want??? £3 mill £5 mill £7,5 mill £9 mill, who cares as he's worth all of them and then some. Anything under £10 mill and we have bargain on our hands imo. Teams like Stoke, Wolves, West Ham, Sunderland all spend or are willing to spend £10 mill+ on players, the times have changed and so must we if we want to compete.
