Spanish, I agree entirely with your stance on MM. To my mind he was yet another horrendous mistake in the list of poor appointments by Marcus Evans, a mistake which he has compounded by saddling us with him for a further 2 years. There was no need to rush into extending his contract - we could have comfortably waited until Christmas to see how things were going. Now, as others say, we can't afford to sack him. Has Marcus lost interest to the extent that he can't be bothered to face another manager recruitment exercise?

What I would like to know is how much of the Cresswell money was paid to/is earmarked for MM and TC to cover their new contracts?

    Spanish calm down!

Mick is not stupid enough to allow Dids out the door unless he has ready made replacements lined up and Evans has sanctioned the money for replacements! The more I think about this the more I like it! We need some quality and we need plenty of it and to sacrifice Dids to bring in players is fine so long as they are the right players! An excellent bit of business when you consider he cost us fcuk all. Usually we do it the other way round where we buy players for big money and then let them go for nothing!

Let's just wait and see what happens but at least Monday I will be glued to sky sports in genuine excitement!

Way too much negativity! People have short memories... He saved our club from the drop, remember? He got us in the play off race last season, and now 5 games into this season where the squad hasn't even been sorted yet, people are ready to give up on him. Sure, I'd also like to see more attractive football being played, but he's made us competitive again in this league and deserves more credit with the constraints he has to work with.

I think ME should cut ticket prices to get more people into PR and aim to bring some atmosphere back again. We need to play better at home... That's for sure!

Castro Sito, you can cut the ticket prices to diddlysquat but if the football's not entertaining they won't come back.
