I think he could be worth the risk, but I fear the backlash if he ends up just being another average stopgap who was bought to appease the fans.
I'd much rather Diame, as he's cheaper, PL proven, and at this stage in his career, probably better. Or spend a little more and get Capoue, who's a destroyer in the middle.
agree, I like Diame, i rate him highly .. heard he may join Arsenal in Jan in a cut price deal as he is not signing for WH to extend his contract meanwhile M'vila is 3 years younger and much more creative and more intelligent footballer , he is well balanced CM but you have a point, Diame is at least been tested in PL
Yeh i'd definitely take diame, there was even a story about wanyama from celtic but i'd definitely prefer diame. As you say he is proven in the premier league and i really like him as a player.
Would take M'Vila or Wanyama over Diame any day of the week. Both have proven themselves against Spain/Barca. For me that trumps "proven in the Premier League" any day, which is an argument of over-rated importance. Players have been switching from one league to another for decades, but quality shines through wherever. Also Diame is currently over-rated. Many people were pleading for Sessegnon last year when all the hype was about him. Would you take him now? So I would hardly say Diame is proven in the Premier League. He was one of Wigan's better players, but still did plenty wrong all the time. At West Ham he's been hyped into the second coming after half a season. Ridiculous.
According to David Ornstein, Rubin Kazan are willing to pay M'Vila £3.75m after tax. In order to achieve the same amount in the UK, any team would have to pay him £120,000 per week. I guess it depends on how seriously he's considering a move to Russia.
The BBC are also reporting Rennes have accepted Rubin Kazan's bid but that he prefers a move to England over Russia. I don't think it's high wages he's after or he'd already have moved
Learnt hes got attitude just like badotelli..If any manager could tame a player, it Fergie. So why did they let him go?
They didn't let him go. Pogba refused to sign a new contract. The only difference is you don't hear the media go on about a Man Utd player leaving for free the same way they would have if it was an Arsenal player.
