It'll be worth watching Wolves v Hull today and see how Hull perform as we play at Wolves on Wednesday and that will give us a pointer as to how our season may go. I expect Wolves and Hull to be in the top six this season, so our match on Wednesday may confirm my fears that we will be mid-table at best...

It will take time for these players to get used to playing together in the "Ramsey way".

I get that and don't have a problem with it (as long as it doesn't take until February to see an improvement).

However, unless the defence radically improves we will be going nowhere, fast. Both Konchesky and Perch look like they could be beaten by any winger from the Conference. As a unit they are being asked to play high up the pitch with a vast space behind, yet none of them have the speed to be able to get back and cover any ball played over the top/through into that space. That to me is a ridiculous tactic. No amount of training or team bonding will make the defence any quicker.

Ned is one of the quickest defenders in the league.

Am I lying with regards to Austin and the subs chatting and having fun with the other players?! Maybe you couldn't see it from your seat - that's if you went to the game of course... :-/

Were you impressed with Polter/JET? Phillips? Do you think that the fitness levels were good?

What is wrong with that exactly?
I go to games, watch the game, and leave. Not into post mortems and analysing every single aspect of the game.

No you're not. For someone who clearly has an issue with me, you seem overly interested. Surely you couldn't give a monkeys. Also you've not pressed the ignore. All a bit creepy. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Very strange response.
I was just curious as to which part of the ground you were in, as the atmosphere was pretty muted etc.

Forget it, you've clearly got issues.

Thank god for that. Now leave me alone and put me on ignore. You're the one with an issue. Constantly having a pop. Now do one! :p
