All that does is show the incredible extent of your arrogance, there are plenty of others on here, and I´m sure at Carrow Rd, who have ambitions for the Club, we just don´t all agree with you about the way to achieve our targets, or what those targets should be. But that certainly doesn´t give you any right to belittle other people´s points of view, just because they might sound laughable or outrageous to you.

And it´s not your beloved Club, it´s our beloved Club. :)

Don't make me laugh and don't patronise me either mate, pray tell me what exactly are YOUR ambitions for OUR beloved club then?
Somehow I think I already know the answer to that and that is you're content with us being a yo-yo club at best, flirting occasionally with 'big boys' . Oh, and for the record I wasn't 'belittling' anyone's opinion, just disagreeing it's what you do on a football forum <ok>

"Hate filled ""arrogant" and "belittles others "and they are supposed to be the nice guys chucking about slurs willy nilly. <yikes>
The trouble is if you retaliate the ugly sisters will cry foul or go off in a huff.

It's much easier supporting a team that you never go to watch and live hundreds of mlies away from I guess.

You really are an irritating little **** stirrer when you want to be. I remember when you begged and grovelled to be allowed back and if you ever resorted to your old habits of baiting then you would happily go back to posting in GC only!

Well my friend, that time has come!

Quite the name caller today Dave I suggest you take a deep breath before you post next time.
Even when I chose not to post on here you were still constantly condescending and bickering with posters WAY more than anyone.
It's about time you went back to the Watford board or your Sunderland forum .

No surprise you're not a man of Principle!

I think every NCFC supporter have ambitions of our club being successful and want to be competing with the best, I don't think that should ever be questioned. Just we all have different opinions on how we want to get there. I disagree with KIO and a few others but if that's how some people feel then I have to respect that, only reason people argue on here is because we care about our club.

The way some supporters react you would think NCFC are on the verge of bankruptcy and going out of existence, where as I think we're in a healthy position and no need for dramatic change. The fact I read some people want to protest is ludicrous, that will only make it a toxic atmosphere that won't help.

Totally agree, Woodbine. Let's roll up another £23m debt and see where that gets us. A little patience would go a long way. <cheers>

If we were in millions of debt, heading towards league 2 with owners who didn't care I would understand the protest talks. But doing it now would only do more harm than good.

We've got a good team for this league, admittedly they should be doing better but there's a long way to go.

Sorry RBF, I have to disagree with you here.
As I see it, KIO was right when he said 'his beloved club', as I believe he was speaking for himself.
If he had used the term 'our beloved club' then some people on here would have jumped on him, or misunderstood him to be speaking for everyone.
Now THAT would be arrogance wouldn't it? To assume to speak for everyone else on here?

A trait some posters (no name - no packdrill) would appear to have in abundance, but KIO is not one of them.

PS. Dave and DD - if you wish to have a go at each other, please do it via pm and not on here - although I do believe there may have been a bit of 'misunderstanding' over a post and a certain type of guard dog? I'm sure nothing really nasty was intended was it gentlemen? :emoticon-0112-wonde:police:

Well I´ll return the compliment, Resurgam, and say that I totally disagree with you. For KIO to question whether he is the only one to have any real ambition for the Club, is to my mind, still arrogant, and an unnecessary dig at the rest of us.

I don´t doubt he´s got plenty of ambition, he´s certainly told us often enough, that we should all move with the times, jump on the cash bandwagon, dump Delia and MWJ, as if they were nothing better than a couple of pieces of trash, then bring in a multi-millionaire. The only problem with that is, that when I, or anyone else refuses to go along with that idea, we´re deemed to be somehow mentally impaired.

There´s no reason for us all to follow the same path out of the forest.

With the current set up at the Club, the current owners, and how the Club is run, I can´t realistically see us being any more than a yo-yo Club for the forseeable future, and yes, I´m perfectly content with that. Why does that, in your eyes apparently, make me slightly demented, and a lesser fan than you - I´d really like to know, because that is the impression you give, time and time again.

I´m certainly not doubting your ambition for the Club, you´ve got more than enough for all of us, it´s just not tinged with very much reality, as far as I can see. Also your continued insistence on dumping Delia and MWJ, simply because in your opinioin, we have to move with the times, goes against my grain, anyway. Forget what they´ve done over the years, it´s time they were put out with the trash - sorry, but I will never agree with that.

We all want what´s best for the Club, you see the sky being the limit, with a multi-millionaire owner, I see the road ahead fraught with danger and pitfalls, in today´s money-mad football climate.

Litle bit below the belt wasn´t it?

Actually it´s a lot harder than you might imagine having to follow from afar, a Club you´ve been born into, and been part of, for as long as you can remember.

You who can still get to the ground, you´re the lucky ones.

For me, the future doesn't lie in buying more and more players and hoping they come good. Focussing on key positions and getting real PL quality in those (eg. Klose and Brady) and bringing on our promising young players offers a better chance of long-term success. Our squad currently has around 15-16 experienced PL players and 9 or 10 young players knocking on the door. How many of them will succeed remains to be seen, but our last period of real success in the top division came in the 90s when the crop of young players came good. IMO, we have that potential again.

Unfortunately, as was proved last season, not that many of them were really PL quality. I feel that we may have several youngsters who could well make the grade if AN is prepared to give them that chance and of those still at CR, Godfrey, Canos and at least one of the Murphys fit the bill.
