I’m at the Cheltenham festival this week, so I think it’s unlikely.

 

46 league games becomes 26

 

About 36 in the end ...but the Cheltenham festival is class.

 

I'm going to take Mrs Elfs horse racing in the summer.

Which course locally would you recommend? And no, you cannot tag along

 

Depends what your budget is.

Sandown & Kempton are Premier League.

Ascot is Champions League

Lingfield is League One

All 4 have a train station next to the racecourse. The ticket prices are very different though.

If you are just going for a cheap p1ss up, and will be so drunk after the first race you will be seeing double...then Lingfield.

£25 to get in, and you may be able to blag a children’s ticket ...which is free.

 

What is Plumpton like?

 

Go to the Glorious Goodwood meeting... take Mrs Elf and stay in a hotel and make a mini holiday of it.

Glorious Goodwood is a brilliant meeting with good racing on all days!

 

Plumpton is really a bookies course... has meetings so Bookies have horse racing every day.... Lingfield has a half decent Derby Trial meeting on Saturday, 9th May 2020

 

Excellent. Beautiful racecourse & right next to the train station.

 

Don’t go to that one. The crowds are always big on that day, and the small racecourse & poor facilities can’t cope.
