Worth a Punt?

yes i agree with that; we dont really have anyone with any real pedigree. even towards the end of the MM years we had established pros, internationals who had been to the top league and done something there at least. i dont think we have anyone with any PL experience now do we? i was thinking about Dozzell this evening-he's young and fairly talented but how on earth is he going to develop in a club that has no-one for him to look up to (he's probably got more ability than the senior pros, just no experience) and owned by someones that has eroded the technical quality of the side year on year for around a decade. he needs to be in a young group going places in a bigger club where he's developed. hard to admit, but that's not us. maybe a Bony would begin to add that extra level of overall experience and that magical quality of "belief". give it to Wilf and things will happen. hardly a thought that must pass through your mind with Jackson on your passing radar...
