At least Brucey said he would appeal McGregor's red.

    Every right to.

Long knew exactly what he was doing, Gabbidon was running in a straight line knowing full well that Long was going nowhere and is then subject to a penalty appeal because Long decided to sandwich his leg between his and fall over conveniently before the ball goes out of play. He's done it to us before on several occasions and was finally caught out. I won't judge you too harshly for thinking it was a penalty as it was his debut but tell me this, did Gabbidon foul him or did Long ensure there was a tangle of legs? If it's the latter, it cannot be a penalty. How he didn't get away with a booking in that game was beyond me as he put in two nasty fouls afterwards also.

We got to the PL on merit, we didn't spend anywhere near as much as the promotion pack and actually made a tidy profit and that's not including the PL TV money. There's no denying we got a lot of penalties but we were on a rampage in most of those games, it was only when Holloway came in and tried to change everything that was getting us success that we faltered.

FWIW, I don't think you'll go down. We were far from pretty to watch yesterday but generally we have played decent football under Pulis. Whenever I've seen Hull, it's been fairly similar, your formation for some reason baffles teams and it seems to get you results, I don't think I saw you in a game last season where you scored more than 2 goals but it worked.

Good luck for the rest of the season and with your campaign against your nutjob of an owner, he may have poured in millions but I hope you don't roll over like Cardiff fans have done and only protest when it's convenient.

For me, watching on the box -

    Jelavic - No pen

    Long - Definite pen

    McGregor - Harsh red

Overall, a hard game to watch.

Agreed. But Roger East has been poor all season regardless of games he has been ref in. He is not good enough for a sunday pub league.

East is not alone though. Oliver and Jones to name 2 more are just as bad.
