    Funnily enough, I hate football songs such as Blue is the Colour, Bsck Home etc
    They are OK on the terraces but NOT on recods, DVDs etc

    I was surprised to discover it was the singer of my favourite mod band The Creation (whose lead guitarist Eddie Philipps was the first to play a guitar with a violin bow, long before Jimmy Page), and Herbie Flowers who played the ultra cool intro to Take A Walk On The Wild side.

    Very interesting. I can't recall The Creation, but they're very good. Reminiscent of the early Faces and The Who. Thanks for introducing 'em to me. I'll search out more of their stuff. Fascinating that Eddie Philipps influenced Page(who's often been touted as the first with the bow/guitar technique in rock). <cheers>
